About the NJB Community Charter Steering Committee
The Steering Committee is a school community’s representative body comprising school staff, parents/community members.
The primary responsibility of the Steering Committee is to participate in the development of the (LCAP) also known as the Local Control Accountability Plan, and evaluate the effectiveness of programs by monitoring the use of Title I and other supplemental funding available to the school site. The SC also umbrellas the ELAC in that it aids in the decision-making process for Title I monies appropriated for English learners. Important to note that th
