We are very fortunate to have Bruce volunteering to aid with the scholars on campus and professional develop and implement our gardens as he has certification in:

Hazardous Materials; Pesticide Applications; and, is a First Responder

Bruce gained these valuable skills, when after serving 3 years in the U.S.M.C., worked for 17 years at SMUD and 21 years for the County of Sacramento (notable is Bruce worked as an equipment operator for these employers also giving him the ability to operate commercial trucks, backhoes, dozers, bobcats, cranes, etc.).

Bruce is an avid NFL fan (not citing any team), however in the off-season his passion turns to traveling; taking cruises and visiting historical sites.
