The Steering Committee is a school community’s representative
body, made up of school staff, parents/community members.
The primary responsibility of the Steering Committee is to
participate in the development of the (LCAP) also known as
the Local Control Accountibilty Plan, and evaluate the
effectiveness of programs by monitoring the use of Title I and
other supplemental funding available to the school site.
The SC also umbrellas the ELAC, in that it aids in the
decision-making process for Title I monies appropriated for
English learners. Important to note is tha
Sacramento City Unified School District today announced the
status of its response to 24 cases at New Joseph Bonnheim Charter
School since its reopening on August 9. In response, our staff
performed rapid antigen testing for all staff and students last
week, and this week again provided the New Joseph Bonnheim staff
and students with PCR testing, as required by Sacramento County
Public Health. This required PCR testing will occur again each
week for the next two weeks.
