The Steering Committee is a school community’s representative
body comprising school staff, parents/community members.
The primary responsibility of the Steering Committee is to
participate in the development of the (LCAP) also known as
the Local Control Accountability Plan, and evaluate the
effectiveness of programs by monitoring the use of Title I and
other supplemental funding available to the school site.
The SC also umbrellas the ELAC in that it aids in the
decision-making process for Title I monies appropriated for

Steering Committee encourages the public to participate and speak
at our meetings. We are a community school and welcome all who
have a vision to improve our children’s educational lives. Your

This Steering Committee Meeting is held on the second
Tuesday of each month in Room 26 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
