Building strong parent-school relationships are very important to
NJB. Our meetings cover information, support, networking and
ELAC/School Sit Council.
ELAC: Each California Public School from Kindergarten through
grade 12, where there are 21 scholars or more, must form a
functional English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC). The ELAC is
a committee for parents or other community members who want to
advocate for English Learners.
