It is time to celebrate our 6th grade scholars who are taking the next step in their academic journey. It is with great excitement and pride that we take time to celebrate our our 6th grade scholars’ promotion.

Families may begin to assemble in the courtyard by the Kindergarten classroom at 8:15. Scholars will meet in their classroom dressed in their Sunday best, and will begin a procession to the stage at 8:55. The ceremony begins promptly at 9:00, two students will give speeches, and with great pomp and circumstance, we will celebrate our scholars. The ceremony is expected to last thirty minutes.

So that all attendees can see and hear their scholar’s name, NO BALLOONS or HORNS! Please respect our neighbors and park along the street without blocking a driveway. If you want to see your scholar in a cap and gown, a station for pictures will be provided. Courtesy of the PTA, cupcakes will be served.

For some families, a middle school promotion is also on the schedule for the same day. At the end of the ceremony, I will ask for everyone to remain seated, so families who have middle school promotion at 12:00 may have the opportunity to leave first.
